Hastings’ acrylic painting, “Blushing” received the top ranking from the South Dakota Arts Council. Hastings is a freshman at Jefferson High School, and her art teacher is Brittany Carmany. The artwork will be on exhibit in the Cannon Tunnel at the U.S.
