Several of Johnson’s priorities were included in the Building Unrivaled Infrastructure and Long-term Development (BUILD) for America’s 250th Act, which passed the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee with a bipartisan 66-2 vote.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) voted to secure the sale of year-round E15 nationwide, strengthening fuel supply chain stability. The Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act passed the House of Representatives by a bipartisan 218-203 vote.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) announced Cadence Micucci from Tea as the winner of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for South Dakota. Micucci’s mixed media artwork is named “The Original Soldier.” Micucci is a sophomore at Tea Area High School. Her art teacher is Angela Kamps. The artwork will be on display for the next year in the Cannon Tunnel at the U.S. Capitol along with the winning artwork from other congressional districts.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Committee on Natural Resources Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries held a hearing on U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson’s (R-S.D.) bills to conduct feasibility studies on supplying Missouri River water to communities in eastern South Dakota.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Committee on Natural Resources held a hearing on U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson’s (R-S.D.) bill to conduct a feasibility study on supplying Missouri River water to the Western Dakota Regional Water System (WDRWS).

“It’s hard to overstate the importance of water,” said Johnson. “If we want a vibrant and healthy West River, we have to have the Western Dakota Regional Water System project, and I’m proud to support this important step forward.”
