There are over 54,000 Veterans in the State of South Dakota, many of them served in the Vietnam War. Although I didn’t serve in the Armed Forces, I recognize the tremendous sacrifice our servicemembers – past and present – have made to protect our nation’s many freedoms.
I want to honor our state’s heroes, which is why I partnered with the Vietnam War Commemoration to find eligible Vietnam-era veterans and honor them with a Commemorative Lapel Pin.

Washington, D.C.
In the Washington, DC office, internships run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters for college students. Students gain invaluable work experience. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session.
