Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) announced eight South Dakotans will be attending the United States service academies. They will begin their military training at their respective schools this summer. Johnson nominated each of these students in December 2024 and they recently accepted their appointment offers.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House passed the annual defense package, which included two provisions led by U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.). The bill provides a substantial pay raise to troops, ends politically woke policies, strengthens America’s military, and gets tough on China. Johnson voted to pass the bill.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Director testified in the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee this week to address concerns about the Agency’s response to disasters. It was recently reported that employees were directed to skip homes that displayed Trump signs or flags.
