Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) congratulated Congressional App Challenge winners, sisters Katelyn and Casie Dale, from Spearfish, South Dakota. Katelyn and Casie designed an app called the "Bill List Discrepancy Locator."

These two committees are critical for the progress of South Dakota and played a vital role for our country as we have dealt with the impacts of a global pandemic, issues with the supply chain, and inflation.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently approved a bipartisan bill introduced by U.S. Rep. Dusty Johnson (R-SD) to create a library for cattle contracts within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The House on Dec. 8 voted 411-13 to pass the Cattle Contract Library Act of 2021, H.R. 5609. Included among the original cosponsors of the bill are U.S. Reps. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Frank Lucas (R-OK), and Kelly Armstrong (R-ND).
SPEARFISH, S.D. (KOTA) - The workforce problem doesn’t have just one solution.
“Spearfish has a real workforce problem and, of course, that’s true for most of South Dakota, but it’s even more acute here in Spearfish,” said Congressman Dusty Johnson.
To combat the problem, the Spearfish Economic Development Corporation met with Johnson to talk about some solutions.

People bundled up and gathered together to pay their respects to veterans of South Dakota. A 21 gun salute took place and every veteran’s gravestone received a custom wreath. Representative Dusty Johnson was a guest speaker at the event. He expressed gratitude to people attending the ceremony.
