Representative Dusty Johnson has been an avid proponent for election safety, heavily pushing for better restrictions when it comes to undocumented people being allowed to vote in elections.

President Biden’s performance during the debate a couple weeks ago was very concerning. Americans deserve a Commander in Chief who is up to the task, and it’s clear that Biden is not capable to fulfill the responsibilities of the office. It is not safe for the American people or the future of our country if Biden continues to run the administration.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) voted to secure the integrity of American elections by passing the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act to prevent noncitizens from voting in federal elections. The SAVE Act would require proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote.

I joined Governor Noem for her Tribal Public Safety Crisis Summit on Monday for a conversation to find solutions to the violent crime crisis on Indian reservations. Local Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents were participating in the event but were told by Department of Justice (DOJ) officials that they could not be at the summit if I was present. Attorney General (AG) Merrick Garland’s Deputy gave this directive.

Gov. Kristi Noem held a press briefing in Dakota Dunes on Monday to give an update about storms and flooding in southeast South Dakota.

Rep. Dusty Johnson and leaders involved with emergency response also spoke at the press briefing in North Sioux City, South Dakota.

Gov. Noem said we all need to respect flood waters, and residents are asked to stay out of flooded areas.

Noem highlighted how quickly things can turn or worsen, noting a levee had to be built within a few hours this weekend.
