Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) introduced legislation to prohibit use of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-affiliated LiDAR technology to be used by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) is a remote sensing technology that captures detailed three-dimensional maps of surrounding environments with millimeter-level accuracy.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) voted to pass the Protecting American Agriculture from Foreign Adversaries Act to strengthen the review process for purchases of U.S. farmland by the Chinese Communist Party. China's growing investment in U.S. agricultural land has raised concerns about the security of our food supply. Johnson is a leader on this bill and has been vocal in his opposition to these purchases.
