South Dakota has an out-of-stock rate of over 50%. FDA became aware of contamination at Abbott Nutrition as early as September 2021 and found an increased level of bacteria in January 2022.

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Rep. Johnson was in Rapid City Monday afternoon, as part of a trip to West River.
The congressman kicked off his trip by visiting some of the local organizations focused on helping residents with mental health difficulties. He started at the Crisis Care Center, which is currently waiting for construction to finish on a new building.
In 2021, the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (USCBP) seized 11,201 pounds of fentanyl—a 234% increase from 2020. This amount of fentanyl is enough to kill every American seven times. Fentanyl is the deadliest drug in the United States and is 50 times more powerful than heroin. This lethal drug has made its way into our homes and communities, accounting for 64,000 of the over 100,000 drug overdose deaths in 2021—the highest number ever.

Dusty Johnson stopped in Watertown today and one stop was to tour the Human Service Agency. KXLG was present for the tour and CEO Kari Johnston’s presentation.
Earlier she had also made the presentation at today’s County Commissioners meeting to educate them about their upcoming large construction project of the new Serenity Hills. It will be located behind the current Human Service Agency Building. You can see some of the construction has already begun.
