The bill includes provisions to strengthen deterrence against China, prohibit men from competing in women’s sports at military academies, and robust funding for B-21 aircraft procurement. Johnson voted to pass the legislation.

This week, the application opened for states to apply for assistance from the Rural Health Transformation Fund. These dollars are the largest single investment in rural health care in history. It provides $50 billion for workforce development, incentives for innovative care and technology, and ensures sustainable health care access for rural South Dakotans.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) voted to pass the Stop Chinese Fentanyl Act to hold China accountable for its role in the fentanyl crisis. The bill passed with a vote of 407-4. Johnson is a member of the Fentanyl Policy Working Group within the Select Committee on China.
