The New Year is a natural time to reflect on the past year and set priorities for the one ahead. House Republicans’ priorities were listed in our Commitment to America at the beginning of this year, and we plan to keep working towards those goals in 2024.

Our nation’s military is our first line of defense. They protect us in ways we don’t know and can’t see. Their round-the-clock monitoring of our adversaries such as China and Russia, boots-on-the-ground fighting, and cyber warfare protection deserve our utmost gratitude so we can live freely.
There have been more than 5 million illegal crossings of our southern border since President Biden took office. Title 42 ended May 11, a policy that has allowed border patrol to turn migrants away due to public health concerns. Fentanyl is flowing across the border in record numbers.
