Johnson National Security Priorities Pass House

April 20, 2024

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House passed critical national security priorities with support from U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.).

With overwhelming support, the House four passed bills that will:

  • Aid America’s ally Israel in its fight against Iran and the terrorist group Hamas.
  • Aid in the fight against Putin’s tyrannical regime.
  • Counter the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
  • Sanction the coordinated axis powers Russia, Iran, and China.
  • Force the divesture of TikTok from the CCP.

“Our allies are at war and our southern border is wide open,” said Johnson. “We are less safe, and the world is less secure if America doesn’t lead with strength. Everyone around the globe is looking to America’s move to help bring geopolitical security and stability. We have to stand up to the bullies and terrorists in Iran, Russia, and China, and we must support our allies now. If we fail to do so, we risk putting more American boots on the ground abroad and we risk security at home and at our borders.”
