Johnson Supports Bill to Prevent Creation of Government Funded Pro-Choice Task Force

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) cosponsored the No Pro-Abortion Task Force Act. This bill will prohibit federal funds from being used to support the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) recently formed, Reproductive Healthcare Access Task Force.

“This task force is openly anti-life,” said Johnson. “When HHS announced the creation of this task force, the word ‘abortion’ was mentioned twice as often as the word ‘birth.’ That tells you exactly where the Biden Administration’s priorities are. The federal government shouldn’t be in the business of exploring ways to expand abortion.”
