Johnson Infrastructure Bill Reaches 100 Cosponsors

November 17, 2021

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) announced that the State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Fiscal Recovery, Infrastructure, and Disaster Relief Flexibility Act reached over 100 cosponsors in the House this week. This legislation will make various infrastructure investments eligible for payment with unspent COVID-19 relief funds.

The bill recently passed the U.S. Senate unanimously. Johnson introduced the House companion in October.

"This bill has real momentum to pass the House, and I'm proud we hit the 100 mark this week," said Johnson. "Support continues to grow for this commonsense proposal and I'm confident we can get states and localities the flexibility they need to best utilize COVID-19 relief dollars."
