Johnson Awarded American Farm Bureau’s Golden Plow
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) was awarded the American Farm Bureau Federation’s (AFBF) 2022 Golden Plow Award for superior commitment and leadership on behalf of U.S. agriculture.
“Securing wins for South Dakota and American agriculture is one of my top priorities in Congress,” said Johnson. “It’s an honor to receive the Golden Plow Award from the American Farm Bureau Federation for my work in Congress – but there’s more to do. I’ll keep working hard for our producers who work tirelessly to provide for South Dakota, America, and the world.”
The Golden Plow Award is given to only one member of the U.S. House of Representatives each year. Last year, the Center for Effective Lawmaking named Johnson the most effective House Republican on agriculture issues.
