Information Ticket Request for Presidential Inauguration

Each congressional office is allocated a small number of tickets to the Presidential Inauguration ceremony. The Inaugural Committee has not yet released information regarding the number of tickets to be distributed and the procedures required to obtain those tickets. At this time, our office and the other South Dakota delegation offices are taking ticket requests from South Dakotans. While ticket allocation and distribution processes continue to be assessed in this global pandemic, we will provide you with information as it becomes available.

To make a request, please fill out the form below.

You will receive an email in one to two business days confirming we have received your request. If the request is approved, tickets will be available to be picked up, in person, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Please note that while you will get your tickets in one office, your allocation was made possible through the efforts of each of the members of the South Dakota delegation. Upon receipt of the tickets, you will be given specific instructions for Inauguration Day. Some instructions have already been announced and are available at: http://inaugural.senate.gov. Please take specific note of the prohibited items list.

Other notes to remember:

We are not able to obtain tickets to any Inaugural balls or receptions.
Please be cautious about websites offering to sell tickets of any kind.
You do not need tickets to the parade and certainly do not need to pay for them.
Finally, please be aware that it is illegal to sell or purchase tickets to the inaugural ceremony.
